while we might not be pr0 as all that ^ there can be no doubt that inside the Drunkards camp for all of those involved in the running of the GA COD 4 team, we can all agree it was the greatest thing.
Even though we're not the best, we all feel like winners, it was really happening for us this season. When it was good it was great and everything that happens now is just the sweet thereafter of another successful season in COD 4
And we should take a moment to really enjoy it, count the steps because for the Drunkards COD 4 GA team it's been an amazing run, coming together in early March this year as an alternative to CODWAW,
literally reviving COD 4 within DIC, the team went into season 3# unpreppared with little or no experience in playing together and faced a rocky start, 2 losses and a draw before getting a win,
then after the first big win - Bam! the team trail blazed with an amazing 6 game winning streak.
What's made the COD4 GA such a success is the involvement from the COD players of olde.
These old hands were there to make it a success, the team has been constantly supported by people like Moqo, Smidy, paradroid, biggles, these Drunkards helped the team find it's feet.
The COD 4 team is helmed by Koolmodee as our Cpt. he put together a team with a regular line up based around four starters with a rotating 5th wheeler.
The noteable bench changeovers include the talents of Funky, Penguin, Darth chipmonk, moqo, Smidy, paradroid, masterJ, Shadow Demon and many more.
Being successful (to me at least), is that despite narrowly missing out on season 3# finals, the team held together, focused on the season 4# and together we made it into the finals.
No other DIC FPS teams have never done this before, COD:Uo came close who were top ten material in season two GA, our BF 2142 team finishing in the top ten,
then our COD WAW team finishing top ten for over 3 seasons at CGo. so for all Drunakrds having the COD4 GA team make it into the season 4# finals is huge!
Being in the season 4# finals has been a great experience for me personally, i've never been in a finals series for anything i've played competitively.
